STEP 19 - SERIOUS HELP FOR DRY, CRACKED SKIN

Your heels, knees, and elbows are common areas for rough, dry, or cracked skin. Give them some extreme pampering with these amazing recipes that will help soothe, restore, and soften these often-overlooked areas of your skin.

CRACKED SKIN SUPER SOOTHER SALVE RECIPE

• 1/4 c. Shea Butter

• 1/4 c. Coconut Oil

• 3 tbsp. Beeswax

• 1/4 c. Magnesium Flakes

• 2 tbsp. Water, Boiled

• 5 drops Oregano Essential Oil

• 5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

Pour two tablespoons boiling water into the Magnesium Flakes in a small container and stir until dissolved. This will create a thick liquid. Set aside to let cool completely. Melt the Coconut Oil, Beeswax, and Shea Butter slowly over medium heat, stirring occasionally. When melted, remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Slowly add the dissolved magnesium mixture to the oil mixture. Add Essential Oils and whip until combined. Store in fridge for best consistency, or at room temperature for up to two months.

HEELS, KNEES, AND ELBOWS ROLLER BLEND RECIPE

• 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 3 drops Melaleuca Essential Oil

• 3 drops Rosemary Essential Oil

• 3 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil

• 3 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

• Argan Carrier Oil or Jojoba Carrier Oil

Add Essential Oils to a 10ml roller bottle and top off with Carrier Oil. Roll onto cracked or dry areas two times per day. Shake well before each use.
