STEP 17 - SAY GOODBYE TO BUMPS AND BURN

Now it’s time for a little skin beauty. And we’ll begin with shaving.

Shaving can disrupt or irritate your skin, especially if the product you are using isn’t as gentle as it claims. These pre-and-post-shave recipes will have your legs in tip-top shape in no time and will help reduce bumps and irritation while soothing your skin.

PRE-SHAVE HAIR SOFTENING BLEND RECIPE

• 2 tsp. Castor Oil Carrier Oil

• 1 tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

• 2 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 2 drops Sandalwood Essential Oil

• 2 drops Geranium Essential Oil

• 2 drops Patchouli Essential Oil

Apply to the area to be shaved a couple of minutes prior to getting in the shower or bathtub. Let the warm water soften your skin and hair and then proceed with shaving.

POST-SHAVE SKIN SOOTHING BLEND RECIPE

• 8 oz. Grape Seed Carrier Oil

• 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 5 drops Geranium Essential Oil

• 5 drops Roman Chamomile Essential Oil

Add Essential Oils to the bottle of Grapeseed Oil and shake well to incorporate. After your bath or shower, but before toweling dry, apply a small amount of oil over the area just shaved. Allow to absorb for a few seconds before toweling dry or getting dressed.
