Your daily beauty regimen is not complete without a little attention on your lips.

There are tons of lip products on the market today. Some smooth, others plump up your lips, and some promise deep hydration.

But have you ever wondered just how many different chemicals it actually takes for those products to live up to their marketing claims? There are SO many ways to have beautiful, lush lips without all the unnecessary chemicals, and these next recipes are just the start.

RADIANT RED LIPSTICK RECIPE

• 1 tsp. Shea Butter

• 1 tsp. Coconut Oil

• 1 tsp. Beeswax

• 1/2 tsp. Red Mica Powder

• 5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

• 2 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

Warm the Shea Butter, Beeswax, and Coconut Oil until they are completely melted.

Remove from heat and add the Mica Powder for a beautiful red color. You can use more or less of the Powder to make lighter or darker shades. For browns and tans, use Cocoa Powder or Cinnamon Powder. Transfer into an empty chap stick or lipstick tube and allow to cool until completely set.
