STEP 10 - THE EYES HAVE IT

Eyeliner and shadow are just two of the basics of makeup which helps make your eyes stand out and get noticed. What better way to use your Essential Oils in the service of everyday beauty than with these easy recipes for liner and shadow!

EASY ON THE EYES EYELINER RECIPE

• 1–2 tsp. Activated Charcoal or Cocoa

• A few drops Witch Hazel or Purified Water

• 1 drop Lavender Essential Oil

Measure out Charcoal into a small glass bowl, add in a few drops of Witch Hazel or Purified Water, then add in the Essential Oil, and mix again. Transfer to an empty eye liner pot and store in a cool place. Use an eye liner brush to apply.

SOFT AND SILKY EYESHADOW RECIPE

• 1 tsp. Arrowroot Powder

• 2 tsp. Cocoa Powder

• 1 tsp. Shea Butter

• 6 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

Place your Arrowroot Powder in a small glass bowl and add in the cocoa powder. Mix thoroughly to get an even powder, then drop in the Essential Oil and Shea Butter using a small spoon to whip the powder into the Shea Butter. The mixture should be a soft eye shadow with a powdery consistency. This eye shadow will be smooth to apply, and the Shea Butter will help it stick and last longer. This recipe is light brown in color, but you can make other natural shades by using Beetroot Powder or Turmeric Powder.
